I am on a continuous quest to be a consummate professional so that I can better serve my clients. This includes adolescents, Adults, and families. I earned my Ph.D. from Barry University, which is accredited by CACREP (Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs), with a concentration in counseling, mental health, and clinical psychology. My Master of Science Degree is in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University (CACREP accredited). I completed my Undergraduate work in Communication and Broadcast Journalism and Sociology & Deviant Behavior at Boston College.  

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (LMHC) in the State of Florida, a State-Qualified Clinical Supervisor, and a National Board-Certified Counselor. 

My passion for educating families and individuals about mental health and emotional wellness motivates me.   I am a member of the American Counseling Association and have certifications/advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Neuroscience for the Treatment of Trauma, Anxiety, and Stress Disorders. I am also a certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP). My clinical experiences include:

  • Outpatient Treatment.

  • The Public School System.

  • Juvenile Justice

  • Private practice
